I didn’t really care so long as they looked nice with his suit. He wanted to wear bowling shoes and thought I would throw a fit about it, so when I said “Cool!” I really surprised him, LOL! I think he looked great! A couple of the other guys wore bowling shoes too 🙂

I’m letting him pick out his own but he will pick dressy shoes that go with suit.  the wedding is very formal and he loves dressing up.

i really left all groom’s attire options up to him.  He didnt get any say in my dress, so I figured he could pick his own suit, shoes, etc.  And I just wanted him to be comfortable and feel good in his clothes.  The guys  wore all black converse with black rental tuxes and I thought it looked great.

He is picking everything himself… I wanted him to wear an argyle vest, he voted it, so now I don’t care as long as it isn’t white.

I wouldn’t make Darling Husband wear anything… I sometimes tell him what I think he looks incredibly sexy in… but would never tell him what to wear (I have a mothering complex without even trying, so I try to steer clear of obvious pitfalls!) 😉

That said – Darling Husband bought THREE different pairs of shoes for the wedding – fortunately, we returned one and the other ones he just liked.  The ones he ended up with were far from what I thought he’d pick – the patent leather tuxedo shoes (he initally loathed) but ended up loving how they looked with his tux (I did too!!)  Win WIN!

Comfort was a BIG issue – he did not want to be in pain after being on his feet all day…

Yeah i’m letting him choose his shoes, suit etc, it’s his day too so I too wouldn’t feel right telling him what he had to wear.

I really like the look of chuck taylor’s with a tux.  I suggested that to Fiance but he doesn’t like them and said there were a pair of addias that he like more.  When he showed them to me I loved them.  My mother was not happy with that idea but we agreed he would wear the tux shoes for the ceremony and change into the addias for the reception.

I am but he is more traditional and wouldn’t want anything other than black dress shoes.

Yes, I figure my fiance is a grown man and he can pick out his own wedding shoes.  By the way, I love seersucker suits!

My groom has a GQ sense of style, all his clothes are perfectly tailored to him.  Luckily, I dont have to worry about him.  He usually dresses better than I do.

We’re getting Nike sneakers custom made as our groomsmen gifts and we’ll be buying Fiance a pair as well to wear for the wedding. I wanted him to be comfortable. He HATES wearing a tux. He was in 2 weddings last year and had to wear one in each. He was absolutely miserable the whole time. I promised him that I would never make him wear one for our wedding and I kept my word.
