I was 317pounds 4 weeks ago and am aiming to be 187 pounds by July next year.

I have my dress and its for the size I want to be. So far I am doing extremely well. Going to the gym almost every day and enjoying it. Eating less but still things I enjoy so I dont get sick of it.

Im pretty motivated so I really hope I get there! My main issue was eating tonnes of crap, but I just tell myself that I will have wished I didnt eat it tomorrow.. so I am kind of pre-guilt tripping myself. Haha

  • Wedding: December 2018

Wedding is in December.  I’m at 150 now, would be super satisfied with 135..even though I met my fiance at 125.  We dip in and out of eating clean and vegan but I intend to get really committed come spring time.  I’ve also been on and off with yoga for the past three years and have been hitting the mat every day for the past 11 days in a row!  Baby steps, I’m glad I have time.

What am I doing?…….nothing except moaning and bitching about how I want to lose weight and doing nothing about it!  Following for inspiration! Well done to those flexing that willpower!

I’m definitely aiming to lose weight before the wedding. I’m petite, only 5’1” and currently at 100 lbs. I’m hoping to get down to about 94 lbs and get toner on top of that. I think I’m currently skinny fat (don’t work out, eat whatever I want) but I definitely want to be more toned in the arms etc

For about 80% of my adult life I hovered between 130-135.

The year before I met FH I had to go on steroids for a while and shot up to 163 which felt awful. I had to have a series of surgeries which brought me back down to my more “normal” weight for a while, but after my 2nd hysterectomy where they took my ovaries, I have been steadily gaining ever since. I weighed in at 162 three weeks ago.

I bought my wedding dress in July and it fit PERFECTLY. Like, no alterations were needed. At all.

Now, I can’t zip it all the way up and I’m bulging in places. I also can’t wear about 80% of my wardrobe because I’ve gotten so big.

So. I know shooting for a number isn’t usually my best bet. I like to lift weights as my primary form of exercise, so lean but heavy is okay.

Right now, I’m just heavy.

My goal is to fit into my dress and then into the rest of my clothes.

I’m doing a shake for breakfast (I hate eating in the morning) a lunch 300 calories or less, and dinner 500 or less. With 2 snacks during the day.

Last weigh in I was 158 so, at least it’s headed in the right direction. We just decided to put off the wedding until next year, so I have lots of time to get there. And, we’re getting a puppy, so walking will become a must.

Yes. My wedding is in October and Fiance and I are both trying to lose weight. I was 105 when we started dating and 114-117 is my normal weight. Gained a bit too much over the last couple years and at my heaviest in this January I was 134. I am now down to 130. Goal is 113, I would be happy with anything under 119 lbs. For reference I am 5’3″ and small boned so every pound really counts. We are working out and doing weight watchers together. He would like to lose at least 30lbs. Work/moving stress is the worst 🙁

I’m happy with my weight but i’m not happy with my muscle definition. My dress has a lovely back and shows off my arms as well. I would like to tighten up my flappy arms and tone my back; I also need to work on posture more as I tend to drop my shoulders.

I just recently started horseback riding again so that’ll help, and i’m trying to go to yoga more regularly to help with my posture

BEEelegant :  English; specifically eventing. I just started leasing an eventer a couple months ago and boy oh boy I didn’t realize how out of shape I was! I can barely walk after a few days of riding. I used to ride all the time, stopped during university for financial reasons
