Definitely losing weight for my wedding in June. I workout 5 times a week and drink a meal replacement shake twice a day. I’m giving up meat for lent so that’ll help me lose more weight too. My dress fits except it needs to be taken in at the top.

I don’t actually weigh myself so I don’t know my number but I am trying to lose weight for the wedding as well. I’ve been working out 3 days a week now and just eating healthy fresh things. Adding probiotics as well. When I’m three months out I’m going to eat 100% organic as well.

I’m 5′ 0″ and am 107 . . . guess I’m just fat. Lol
I don’t have a wedding date, but I know I’ll want to be around 103-104.

I tried to dieting 6m before the day because my dress doesn’t fit by eating only chicken breast and brocoli, and….. nothing!!! Then I gave up (that diet doesn’t work well with my sanity lol) and tried eating half portion instead and it works like a charm!!! Only need to lose about 12lbs though.

I was in the 140s when I met my Fiance. After going through our “happy” phase, I gained about 25lbs. I then broke my ankle and had surgery which added another 15lbs. I’m hoping with enough low carb dieting and working with a personal trainer (start next week) that I can get somewhere close to that goal. It may be wishful thinking….
Guzzling a bunch of water helps me too! And it’s done wonders for clearing up my skin 🙂

I am 164cm (5’4″) and 94.5kg (204lbs). The wedding will be April 2019. Ideally I would like to get down to 65kg (143lbs). I have tried several times but the wedding and finally moving forward with planning is a great motivator. I want to feel good and look good for the wedding but also for my health. I don’t want to be one of those brides that lose all this weight for the wedding but pile it all (and more) back on afterwards!
I have diabetes but I also have a junk food addiction which makes it almost impossible it feels like sometimes. I am aiming to cut carbs (which have the biggest addictive qualities) a fair bit. I had eggs for breakfast yesterday and yoghurt this morning. So progress I guess.
Good on you bees!

When Darling Husband and I got engaged we both started working out, I did the gym and he did CrossFit…I later switched to CrossFit and we worked out 3-5 times a week for 9 months! I gained muscle and lost fat but I was so much happier with my flabby arms. I had started around the same weight as you 140ish but my BMI was 32% and think I got down to 128lbs which I was happy with…especially when people no longer said I looked like I had just had a baby (no kids)…end result wasn’t perfect because I love food but it was way better than where I started lol
Losing weight is so doable but found it was easier once hubby and I started it together

I want to be more toned/stronger. I’m 5’6 and 119. I eat healthy and well – sometimes I feel like I eat more than my Fiance … I could not handle meal replacement shakes!! I need food haha. We workout together weekly and apart a few times/week. I want to get more muscle and be in great shape before TTC 🙂

diamondbeez : You are pretty much my exact height and also have the same ideal weight! I’m around 98 now and although 2/3lbs really isn’t much it’s just enough at my height to make it pay off when I’ve been working out. My wedding isn’t until next May but I want to look as good as possible for dress shopping so I have a true idea of how everything will look. I was originally thinking I wanted an A line but the more I thinks about it I think I’ll have to go with something more fitted. How did you get on dress shopping?

I started at about 155 and nearly 10lb down. Aiming for 130 but would be happy with 135. 5’5″.

zzar45 : hi bee! I started my dress shopping already to get an idea on what I like and I actually like a fuller skirt. I can’t do a mermaid silhouette as well I think because of my height ( the mermaid will flare out too low and be too short) so I have actually been leaning towards ball gowns and larger skirts. Here are my favs so far!

What is your goal: 125-135 (whatever is more manageable). I started night shift over a year ago so I gained over 25+ pounds. So I’m focusing on getting that off.
Your wedding month: October 2018
How you are getting there: Doing a beachbody work out at home to help decrease cost of a gym (so we can gather other items for the wedding). I’m doing clean eating and trying to eat 3-5 times a day. I work out 5-6 days a week with this program. This includes meal replacement shakes one time a day.

diamondbeez : Those ball gowns look amazing on you, particularly the second option. Yay, you’ve given me hope that massive skirts don’t have to swamp tiny people.

For the first time in my life, I’m not trying to lose weight, and it is a beautiful thing.
