(Closed) Are you losing weight while TTC?

I was trying to just get back in shape, because of my wedding plans i lost track of my workout routine.  I didn’t gain weight though, because of all the stress i actually lost weight (it wasn’t healthy for me to lose it like that)….anyway iam ttc now and im still working out every day, resting once a week….i hear staying in a healthy weight and workout routine while ttc and while pregnant helps not only when it comes time to deliver your baby, but also helps you after.  IDK for sure how, iam not a doctor, but it makes sense.  My mom did it, she had 8 kids and looks and feels FAB!

I am! I really want to lose a little weight before I get preggers…I probably have about 40 more pounds to lose as well…but I would be happy to lose just 25. 40 is my ultimate goal but I would be ok with a BFP before I reach that number. I am currently doing Insanity and on my workout days I eat between 1500 and 1600 calories. On my rest day (Sunday), I eat my normal 1200 calories. I will be done with this round of Insanity at the end of January and then plan on continuing with a healthy eating plan and some other type of exercise once this program is done.

We started TTC in October and after AF came in November I realized I needed to start taking care of myself if I was going to someday (soon hopefully!) house a baby Wink

I read an article recently about overweight pregnant women and gestational diabetes. It kind of freaked me out so I’m just trying to live a healthier life style.I don’t see any risk in losing while while TTC but I would definitely (like you said) stop “dieting” if I found out I was pregnant…and I would stop doing Insanity too.

I’m listening in to see what other bees have to say!
