For all you August bees, I just thought I would check in to see how many of you are on schedule, ahead or behind?
I feel behind, but I believe I am on target with everything. (I should probably check my checklist for this month :S) Venue, caterer, photographer, officiant, dress, Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, Save-The-Date Cards are done. I am currently working on flowers and hope to have my appointment scheduled soon. Cake is in the works as well.

@PacificMrs: I agree with you!
We have been planning since August 2011 so everything is pretty much done! Just working on some little projects and smaller details. I am worried about my hair/make up (I have someone I am using but they live far and our friends of a friends so I am just a little nervous). Miight try to find a back up plan. I am getting nervous I will forget something or not finish something.

- Wedding: August 2013 - Brookfield Zoo
I think I’m good but to be honest I don’t really have a “schedule”!! We’ve got all the big vendors booked and our venue’s event coordinator just contacted us to set up a tasting so in terms of big stuff we are pretty much right on track… in terms of little things, there’s a lot we’ve finished and a lot that needs to be done, but may or may not be able to before spring.

I’m feeling a lot better now that we have most of the major vendors booked, but we NEED to get save the dates out!!! I was working on them yesterday, but my Fiance was killing me. They weren’t amazing, sure, but his comments of “I don’t know what’s wrong, but something looks weird” or “it should have more colors” or “it looks wavy/pixelated” really weren’t helping. Once those are out, though, I will be right on track, I think! And I’m so excited to get to the more fun craft/DIY/project/details part of planning!!!!

The only thing I feel like I’m behind on right now is compiling all our guest addresses (or at least the ones we’re sending invites to), and sending the invitations. Everything else is booked!
Going to start working on candy bar and other DIY decorations/gifts. But with the exception of ordering candy, I have all my vendors!

I got so much done in the last month! Things that are done overall:
-Booking venue & caterer
-Purchasing decor items (no flowers)
-Making and buying invitations
-Purchasing bridal attire & accessories
-Wedding party choosing/dressing/etc.
We’re not having Save-The-Date Cards, a florist, or a DJ. (ipodding it) so that’s good too. I feel like a lot of the most important stuff is done and I just have to worry about paying for it. Some of The Big Stuff that still has to happen:
-Groom’s attire & accessories
-Fold 1000 paper cranes (done about 200 so far)
-Write ceremony (no officiant)
-Book plane tickets (it’s a destination wedding but only for us T_T)
-Book hotel for us at destination and pet hotel for the doggie here in Korea

We have all vendors booked, including the cake, dress and all accessories except something to borrow, honeymoon booked. Even bought the groom’s shoes last weekend (his idea!).
We need to make the invitations, book airfare (no benefit in doing that early), buy bouquet-making supplies and the groom’s outfit. That’s really it. I feel most behind with the wedding expenses savings account but I’ve pretty much felt this way since the beginning. Haven’t figured out makeup, but a coworker has offered.
