Hi girls! I’m debating this one. To have a bachelorette party or not? I am 31, and most of my friends are a couple of years older then me. They are across the board with what they want to do for it. One wants to go to Put-in Bay (small party island close to us, can get expensive), one would like if we got a limo and went to the clubs, and a few are good with dinner and a low key night.
I have thought about having a “girls night in” maybe having a psychic or massage person come, everyone brings some wine and their favorite app. or going out to a nice dinner. Don’t really want a wild and crazy one! I live with my fiance so I don’t really feel like a typical “bachelorette” or want to do what I would of if I was in my low 20’s.
What did or are you girls going to do for yours if any?

We went to Vegas. There ended up being 14 of us (that number just kept growing) and it was a blast. I’m 30 and have been with my fiance for 9 years so I get what you mean by not really feeling like a bachelorette but it was so much fun getting to hang out with everyone and celebrate.

Our plans are still up in the air, but we’re planning a low key night. The clubs and drinking just arent my scene. We’re throwing around dinner and a possible wine and canvas sesison, laser tag, or movie night in just hanging out and watching fun wedding-themed movies.

Hello fellow Ohio bride 🙂
My bridesmaids & I had discussed renting a driver and visiting a bunch of wineries out at Geneva on the lake & then spending the night out there. I thought that was a nice compromise- somewhere in between a traditional wild bachelorette night out & a low key ladies night in. I don’t know if that’s still the plan, but that sounds like a good night to me!

Small girls night at a dueling piano bar. I ate alligator! And I drank, I never drink.

I dont think I’ll be having one since I dont have any bridesmaids and like another bee mentioned clubs arent my thing, I’ll have a margarita here and there but thats all. We do plan to each have one that includes family and all, but aside from that where just friends go all crazy no. I dont talk to many girls, and the ones I do talk to I think would be fine with just going out to dinner. Nothing crazy.

I am undecided. I really don’t go out anymore, and I get really hungover these days. I only want Fiance to nurse me back to health the next day LOL. And I am not really girly so a slumber party and nail painting isn’t going to happen!

I’m 99% sure I’m not having one, mostly because my bridesmaids and friends live ALL over and I feel bad enough that they are paying for plane tickets to come to my wedding!
