I’m having the ceremony and reception in the same location and it is to die for.  Not only that but they just started renting it out for receptions so my wedding will be the first one there.  I am thinking of doing fireworks at the end since we’re not doing  like a grand exit

Ryan Stiles owns and performs at an improv theatre here in town and they are coming to do a 40 minute skit at our reception since my Fiance and I LOVE going there on the weekends to watch their shows. We practically live there haha. Towards the end of the reception we are having burgers and jalapeno chips brought in as a late night snack, which are my FI’s and my very favorite food. We are also having a photobooth. I have been having lots of fun finding props for it!

We are having full uplighting, a dance floor wash, pinspotting, a five piece band and a DJ. We went all out for our reception, but only because we got awesome deals from our connections.

Our “wow” factor was our photo booth (homemade and AMAZING!) and our late night snack. Neither of these are really done in my circle so while they may seem “blah” to some, they were an ENORMOUS hit with our guests.
