Neither me nor my SO are religious, so we are having an entirely secular ceremony with no mention of any god or faith. It suits us. If I was religious, I’d probably get married in a church.

no, and no. BUT – we are not having a church wedding. however, we are having a few religious aspects IN our marriage [opening prayer and a few readings]. This is ONLY because our families are VERY religious.

Yes and we are having a Christian ceremony but not a long ceremony. I love Jesus but I don’t need every friend with some vibrato and the talent to dazzle the audience with the right key to sing. lol We will keep it short (30 minutes) and meaningful. 🙂

And it’s not being held in a church which is okay. It’s what’s in our hearts that counts the most!

Yes and yes. We’re Protestant (Methodist). We really enjoyed our premarital counseling — it was very relaxed! And our ceremony was about 30 minutes long, as well.

No and no.  If I was religious I’d get married in a church, but we are getting married at our venue (which is a distillery).

No on both counts.  My mother would have loved if we got married in the Catholic church but Fiance wasn’t raised Catholic and I have never really imagined myself having a church wedding.  Our venue is basically a chapel and we do have a reverend officiating.

Yes and yes! We are both Christians. We actually met through some youth group friends back in high school. Ha!

We are going to have a very relgiious ceremony. We will use some Christian songs that are meaningful to us, take communion, have Bible verses read, and the officiant (my dad) will probably give a very short sermon. (Like 5 minutes.)
