I can’t because we’re renting everything. But we’ll be donating the flowers to a local church (they are real).

I am keeping my dress…who knows, maybe my niece (or daughter -if we have one) can wear it for their wedding. I’m not going to do the “trash the dress” pics either…

I want to get rid of EVERYTHING. It takes up too much room in my house! I want to keep my dress because of how much it costs but I still dont think I could do a trash the dress session because of the dress price either…So i guess it will have a place in the closet. I dont know where to post all my stuff to sell it though…still thinking about that.

Nope we didnt.  I had thought about it originally, but decided to keep the dress.  There was nothing else in question really.  We kept most of the vases and apothecary jars, flowers were real, nothing else was ours to sell.  I cannot part with the dress,

I sold most of the things from our last wedding, right here on the Classifieds. I’m now in the process of going through everything from the May wedding and also listing them to sell. I’ve sold many things already. I need my house back!

I figure I’ll use a mixture of Classifieds and Craigslist to move my few items. We’re using potted plants, so I’m hoping our guests will take those home, but I did buy some LED candles and other small items to sell.

My Future Sister-In-Law is getting married next year so I think I am expected to give her all the stuff instead if selling it. I am selling my wedding dress though!!!!

I will be selling as much as possible after the wedding. There is a lot of it that I just won’t have a place for, so I would rather it find a new home to go too 🙂

I will sell almost everything, I have a great bunch of beautiful candlesticks that I will sell together or seperately.  I am not sure about my dresses (ceremony and reception dress)  I really love my reception dress, but there are so many wonderful ladies looking for tea length dresses that I am considering selling it really cheap to make a brides vision come true.  I found the dress by mistake and they never advertised the dress nor did they ever even take pictures of it for their own look book (justin alexander).  There are very few out there so I hope it will make a vintagy bride really happy.  As for the rest of the wedding things I think it will all have to go seperately on CL or somewhere like that.  I went with a very eclectic black and ivory look and I don’t think someone would buy 150 mismatched candle holders or 20 mismatched silver bowls.

I tried to sell a lot of mine, but it’s hard.  No one buys it.  I sell it for dirt cheap (I’m talking $20 for 25 vases), but people either can’t pick it up or want it shipped to them for free.  I’m sorry, but don’t they understand it is expensive to ship a box of 25 glass vases?  I can’t just pay them to get rid of my stuff.

Oh most definitely. I was almost considering saving my dress for my daughter, but I want her to have the joy of choosing her own dress, and I know that I would love to help a bride afford her dream wedding gown, so I am going to sell mine on preownedweddingdresses. As for everything else, I intend to sell as much as I can, especially since I won’t be needing it anymore.

some stuff, yes.  I have a bunch of milk glass vases, will also have table runners, other linens, etc.  I’ll need my spare bedroom back!

I will be selling quite a few things after the wedding – not expecting that it will amount to much money, but I hate to think of things being wasted. I will keep my dress and accessories, because my mom really feels strongly I should keep them.

I will be selling:

  • DIY Upholstered card box
  • Organza overlays
  • Frames for table numbers
  • Napkins
  • Lanterns
  • Aisle runner
  • ETC
