    We are serving soda. We are only doing beer, wine, and soda, everything else is cash bar oh ya except coffee and tea lol

    This is interesting! As far as I know, we’re just going to do water, tea (this is the South, where tea is a cold drink… but far enough north that it is served both sweet and unsweet), coffee, and lemonade (American/non-fizzy. you learn something new every day!).

    What I think is funny is that Fiance is a serious soda drinker, but HE thinks it would be strange to have soda at the wedding. You know what, if he can get through his own wedding reception without it, then anyone can, so I don’t think I’m going to bother with it.

    Yes only because that’s the only non-alcoholic option our venue provides (and we are not allowed to bring anything else in). Under other circumstances, we wouldn’t as neither of us (or our families/friends) have ever seen soda served at weddings, since sherbet punch is the general staple.
