(Closed) Are you superstitious? :( He saw my dress…

Start over and find a new dress- why chance any sort of bad luck when it comes to marriage?

Eh, just an old wives' tale. Keep it if you love it.

It stinks but honestly, if it made him that happy then think of how MUCH happier and amazing it’ll be on your wedding day ๐Ÿ™‚

Don’t worry, keep the dress! It is gorgeous and it won’t be any less so now that he has seen it.

    No worries!

Definitely keep it! I would be so happy if my Fiance saw my dress and cried happy/awestruck tears. Such a relief! I’m still worried he’s not going to be impressed on our wedding day, ’cause I’m not that impressed myself.

I had actually forgotten that there even was a superstition about bad luck. I’m keeping Fiance from seeing me in my dress just because I want him to be blown away when he sees me on the wedding day – and honestly because it’s quite fun keeping him in the dark. ๐Ÿ™‚ Sounds like you’ve got “making sure the groom’s socks are knocked off” squared away nicely!

You have to keep the dress and that story is priceless – you will be telling it to your grandchildren!

I just went through this yesterday, but it was willingly!  I had serious dress doubts and was thinking of getting a different dress.  My fiance asked to see the pictures and I caved in, since I’m so used to sharing everything with him and knew that he could help calm me down.  He ALSO teared up, so I realized that the dress and my fiance were both keepers! I definitely don’t believe in any of the “bad luck” stuff! The only reason I don’t want him to see my dress is just because I think it makes for a fun surprise. I definitely wouldn’t change if he saw it, though!

It’s not the first and not the last, and I think it’s fine, ask him to forget ๐Ÿ™‚  Maybe show him tons of other bridal magazines with all the bridal gowns.

Uh, mine came with me to the sample sale, watched me disrobe, and helped me into my dress.

It’s still going to be just as freaking magical when he seems me all done up, dress fitted, walking down the aisle towards him.

Awww that is so sweet that he thought that you looked amazing! The dress is beautiful and of course you should keep it. When you are walking down the aisle, he won’t even remember seeing the picture because you will have hair/make-up and look way different!

Keep it for sure!!! My Fiance already saw pics of my dress too and I could care less. We are going to see eachother before the wedding anyhow so that we can take all pics. Your dress is beautiful btw!!
