i was talking to my fiance’s mom about the whole dress superstition thing and she said, “well my ex husband never saw me in my dress and we all know how that ended up and my current husband had seen me in my dress and we’ve been together 20 years.” lol.
i have never been superstitious about the whole dress thing. if you love the dress why would you get rid of it? it will be a whole different experience anyway when he sees you in it on your wedding day.

Dont you worry about it all all.. I think its perfectly fine for him to know which dress you gonna be wearing.. my Fiance seen my dress on the website.. i showed it to him.. if you love the dress and now you know he loves the dress keep it..

My Fiance went gown shopping with me and he enjoyed every moment of it, saw me in my dress, stares at pictures of me in my dress, and we are planning to take photos before the ceremony on the day of the wedding.. Neither of us are superstitious at all.
Even for the “wow” factor, he thinks it’ll be different (even better) when I’ll be all dressed up with make-up, hair, etc. It wont’ take away the wow factor.
I wouldn’t sweat it at all. If he cried seeing how stunning you look in a picture in which you aren’t even made-up, yet, just think how he’ll react when he sees you on your wedding day.
Also, that’s a beautiful dress!! KEEP IT!

He didn’t PHYSICALLY see you in it, which is technically the superstition ๐
I say it’s fine… plus you brought tears to his eyes when he glimpsed PICTURES of it, just imagine how he will feel when he sees it on your wedding day!

Keep the dress!!! He probably wont remember exactly what it looks like anyways and he is going to think you are a million times more gorgeous on your actual wedding day!!

Don’t worry about it! The whole seeing the bride in the dress thing goes back to the old days when people were in arranged marriages and they had to make sure that the man didn’t think the woman was too ugly to marry. So keep it and expect some more tears on the wedding day!

I think it’s so cute that he started crying. But honestly you should keep it. To start with, by the time the wedding comes around he won’t remember the details of the dress. Also, there’s a big difference between seeing you in pics trying the dress on without being done up with everything else and seeing you in it on your wedding day looking stunning. If he’s crying now, I’m sure he will be overwhelmed (in a good way) when he sees you coming down the aisle ๐

Ah! I would be a little disappointed but its not like he did it intentionally. The good thing is he hasnt seen you in it yet : )

Wow beautiful dress…..atleast you know he loves it. I wouldnt worry because he hasnt seen you in person in the dress. It will still be such a special moment when he sees you walking down the aisle in the dress…nothing can take that away.

That dress is spectacular and I think you’re crazy if you get rid of it!! Seriously – if your whole marriage is riding on whether he sees the dress before you get married, you’ve got bigger fish to fry. Keep it and wear it – he’ll be a million times more blown away when he sees it in person.

you know he loves how you look in it, you know he will cry when he sees you, and he still hasnt kissed you in it or seen you fully decked out in it… the full effect still wasnt there so keep the dress and wait for him to fall in love with you all over again when you walk towards him in your dress
