    @Sunshineliz22:  Commenting to follow. I have my trial next week, but I was thinking yes.

    If you log into the bee from your iphone, you can add your photos by clicking the insert image box, select upload a file from your computer, and allow you to choose an existing photo. I have noticed that some photos from the iphone may need to be rotated to display correctly.

    @Bella83:  Yes! Absolutely. My trial was $65 and I gave her about $15 I think. Please tip for both, she is still providing you a service, even though it is a “trial”.

    @Sunshineliz22:  I did not, because my makeup trial was done by the owner of the company!

    @Sunshineliz22:  I had mine a couple of weeks ago and I tipped. They’re still providing a service so I think it’s appropriate (if you’re happy with what they did).

    I put no, though mine did own the company as well.

    I did, even though she is the owner. She did a fabulous job.

    @Sunshineliz22:  Yes, as another bee said they are still providing a service.

    Why would them being the owner make a difference?

    I am glad this question was asked…
    I have mine coming up soon, and I probably wouldn’t have. Glad you posted this question.

    @MrsUPS:  Not sure if I agree with this or not, but the idea is that if they are the owner they are getting the entire amount that you are paying for their service… there is no other owner getting a cut of the profit.

    If you are paying for the trial, then, yes, you should tip the person who is providing these services to you.

    Many years ago, there was a guideline that, if the owner of a salon was providing the service, there was no expectation of a tip.  However, In the last decade or so, that seems to have been changing.

                  I will be tipping the person who does my hair at the trial since it will most likely be at a salon (still working on hiring someone for hair as I wasn’t confident hiring someone I wasn’t confident with doing the look I want) and than I will tip the person the day they come to my hotel to get ready.

    I will be tipping my make up artist a little differently. My make up artist has a package that includes the trial and day of make up for 1 price. I have to pay part of it the day of my trial and than the rest on my wedding day. I will be tipping her the day of my wedding (enough to include a tip for the trial and day of make up).

    @loveinthelibrary: Ahh, I see.

    I guess that would depend on how much they charged. If it was way higher than others who work under someone would charge then I would say don’t tip. However, if they are charging less as a small business owner, then I would say tip.

    I had my trial yesterday – hair and makeup $175 plus I had to put a deposit to save the day for the wedding so $355 I had to pay. I did not tip.

    I will tip the day of the wedding bc they are comming to my place and will be starting at 6am (to do all the bridesmaids and myself).
