I want to, he’s brought it up before… so we may.

But idk if realistically we’re going to want to spend that kind of money.

We started too.. Took 6 classes… It was a blast!! Especially since I have always loved to dance. We were at Arthur Murray, but it was around $100/class to start, and when they wanted us to continue it was thousands… Loved to do it, but dropped out.. TOO EXPENSIVE! We were hoping to do a special dance for the wedding too including a Lindy Hop — but oh well!

Yes, the thought of 80-100 people watching us attempt to dance scared me into taking them!

we took 1 lesson, it was supposed to be 3.  but we practiced alot and choreographed our own little 2 minute dance with 3 different types of tuns.  it turned out fine.

We’re thinking about it. The Fiance is not one for dancing so it could be an amusing experience.

My fiance and I took a few, we decided not to continue. One reason was the expense, apparently the song we chose required a “bolero” step and they didnt have any specific classes for it so we would need to take private lessions at $75 each, which isnt that much but still. Also time was an issue, we have no time. Lastly it just felt WAY too formal and stiff, we like to have fun on the dance floor and it felt like a lot of work and took so much concentration. 1….2…3.45678….1..2 and then turning the “right” way. If we had a lot more time and moeny we may have kept going and in the end I am sure it would have started to feel more natural but for us I think we will just be ourselves on the dancefloor. As long as you are not just swaying back and forth your guests will love it.

We took two lessons at a Fred Astaire studio that we bought with a Groupon. Wish had purchased the one for 6 lessons, it was a deal. But even with two lessons, it helped us out a lot! It was very fun but to really commit to more lessons there or elsewhere we just didn’t have it in our budget.
