Fiance and I are neither the first nor the last to be engaged or married in either of our groups of friends (I’m 27, he’s 31).

A lot of my classmates have already married/been married and are divorced.  I’m the first of my close friends, though.  I got engaged at 20 and will be getting married at 22 (in a couple of months).  But I’m near the last of my age group in my family to get married.  There’s only two or three cousins left after me (out of 8).  But I’m also the youngest of my age group, so that’s not all that surprising.

I am the first of my friends to get engaged (got engaged when I was 21, he was 24) and first to get married (will be 23, he will be 26).

Although I did have a semi-close friend get married but she was 29 and I don’t think she’ll even be attending my wedding since we have drifted apart…

I’m 20 and my fiance is 19 (he will be 20 in two weeks).

We will not be the first ones to get married. One of my best friends got married last year at 18. She is now pregnant and divorced.

I will not be the first one in my family. My cousin got married last summer and another is getting married this Labor Day. But I will definitely be the youngest.

We’re both 26, and it depends on our groups of friends.

My friends from high school: most are already married, and some have kids.

His friends from high school: Only two are married, and they’re both Mormons.

Our friends from college: we know just a few who are married.

So we basically aren’t the first in any group. He is the first grandkid on his side of the family, so that’s something, right?

Hell no! I’m Last. Being LDS, girls get married at a real young age. I’m almost 24 and I’m sure the LDS community thinks I’m crazy for waiting til I’m 25 to get married.

I’m 21 and have a lot of older friends, so I’m not the first… by a looooooong shot. haha.

But out of the friends I had in high school… I’m still not the first, nor am I the last.  Even some of my closest friends now are engaged/married.  They’re still a little younger than me!

Not the first to be engaged, but will be the first to be married.

My fiancé’s brother has been on-again off-again with a girl.  He proposed almost three years ago, but they’ve yet to agree on a date, let alone start planning.  They were going to wed on 12/12/12 but then… well, idk why, but it didn’t happen.

We’re the second to get engaged and thought we were going to be the second to get married, but I guess we’ll end up being first.  I am 23 & my fiancé is 25.  We got engaged 9 months or so ago (22 and 24) and it was received very positively. 🙂

I’m 22 and the first of my friends to be engaged…we’re not getting married for another year and some change, so I suppose someone could sneak in there and get married first.

Fiance on the other hand, is the last of his friends to get married. He’s 25. He’ll also be the last to have kids because they all have at least one already. Talk about ahead of the curve!

Well I’m 28 so I’m neither the first, nor the last.  Hell, some of them that married earlier are already long divorced.  Some have been married 5+ years by now.  Plenty are still single as well.

I’m the first in my closer group of friends, the ones I went through high school with and those I’ve gotten to know well while in college that I consider my best friends. Friends I just know from church or working at summer camps, I’m not the first by any means.

I am the third-to-last of my closest friends to get married at age 26. Fiance is the last of his closest friends to get married at age 41.

I have been to 13 weddings since 2009. I was in four of them. Fiance went to a few of those weddings with me but has also been in two additional weddings since ’09. The ages of the brides at the time of the wedding varied from 21 to 33, with most in the 24-25 age range. The grooms ranged in age from 23-43, with the average being 28.

I am the first of my friends to get engaged, and married. my 3 best friends are all single, and love being single. They knew  my prosposal was coming because the night i met Fiance i said i was going to marry him! my friends and family all say they always knew i would marry young.

most of FI’s friends are married, or in serious relationships.. but they are all older than me.

I am the first out my my close friends/ family to get engaged and married. My FH has a couple of close friends that were married last summer (New Zealnd). I will be 23 and he will be 25 when we get married. In the small town I come from people tend to have babies before they get married, so we know plenty of people who havebeat us to that! Smile
