I was going to mention the HIMYM episode about one person in the couple being a “reacher” but someone else beat me to it.

I think in our relationship we’re both fairly cute, especially when we make an effort. Actually, my Fiance was totally not my type in terms of looks but he was so sweet and talented (I’m a sucker for dummers) that I fell for him. I think other people find him more classically attractive than I do, is that strange?

I think this is a pretty cool topic.

My POV is that we are two good looking people. Of course, I think my hubby is HOTT but that’s my personal PO. Everyone’s tastes are different. My feelings about myself have always changed depending on what’s going on in my life (weight gain, etc.) but my hubby is always there to correct me and tell me to knock it off. We are both really attracted to each other and it’s not all about our looks and that is what matters. Not really whether we are cute together or whether one person is hotter than the other.

I think my Fiance is smokin hot! Sometimes I catch myself looking at him and going me? Are you sure? Then he grins and tells me to knock it off. 😛

I actually have a theory that pretty girls tend to date ugly guys!!!

I think Fiance is def higher up on the Hot scale than me!

I think this is generally true – plus have you ever noticed how many couples look like they could be brother /sister? I also think you more often see guys getting better looking girls than the other way around…

I think my husband is hotter than me, so I was pretty floored when he told me he thought I would never be interested in him and that I was the best looking girl he had dated.  IT makes me feel pretty good that he doesn’t realize how good looking he is and that he didn’t make the looks of his gfs his #1 priority!

I think Fiance is a higher level than me – people always look at pictures of him or us together and comment about how hot he is.  It used to bother me but lots of people have said how good we look as a couple and how cute our kids will be so I feel a little better.

Eh I am going to totally say what I think.. and probably will get shit for it.

But I think I am hotter than my FH.

I think he is incredibly good looking, and such a fantastic guy. Hence why I am marrying him. But when we first started dating I thought he was “Ok” looking. Cute but not my style, and he thought I was super hot.

Then I got to know him, and BAMM! He is my dream guy. I think personality is a big defining factor in how hot someone is.

I know a guy who when I first met him I thought he was super good looking. Then when I got to know him better he is now just as ugly on the outside as he is on the inside.

I think we’re the same level, of course to me he’s the hottest guy out there though! He’s always telling me I’m hotter though and I’m the one that still gets hit on even though I’m in a relationship. To me, regardless of who still gets hit on, I believe we compliment eachother nicely!

I’ve been a big advocate of the “same attractiveness theory” for a long, long time. Of course, it’s a generalization, but most couples I know are of equal attractiveness. Definitely.

I think the boy and I are equally as attractive. We were both cute and thin when we met and are now chubby. 🙁 I still think he’s adorable and he still thinks I’m beautiful, but I think we’re not happy about our OWN looks.
