I’m the middle and he’s the oldest. He takes care of me and I like to be independent. It’s an interesting combination.

Interesting question! Birth order fascinates me.

I’m an only, he’s a middle. We both act rather stereotypically of our birth order, though FH does have a lot of ‘only’ tendencies.

I’m an only, he’s the oldest. I’d say we mostly follow the stereotypes, but every now and then we’ll fly in the face of statistics.

I’m an only. He’s a middle. Well, he’s almost like the youngest as his younger sis is 8 years younger.

We’re both the youngest, aka the spoiled ones 😛 I don’t think there’s a connection between birth order and our compatibility; it just happened that way!  What I find funny, though, is in my family my oldest sister married an oldest and my middle child brother is in a longterm relationship with a middle child too, lol.

I’m the middle child and he is the youngest.

Just have to say, I am very impressed with all the options on the poll, there’s so many different combinations!

I’m the youngest and Fiance is a twin. I think I’m a pretty stereotypical younger child…not sure where twins fall though??!!  Maybe more like a middle child because he was often compared with sister/never got a chance in the limelight?  He’s pretty independent.

Im the youngest and hes the oldest. I dont think it affects anything. Im VERY independent and can be stubborn and I hold my own.. and so does he. I pick my battles lol. I think its more about personality.

I feel like this poll is assuming we are all either straight women or gay men here 😉

    I’m the 2nd of 4 and DH is the 1st of 2.

My older brother married a youngest of 2.

@MsPanda:  I went and looked up birth order theory after seeing your post. I never knew before that children close in age could usurp characteristics of the other birth order. Cool. I’m very close in age to one who was the youngest for 8 years.
