Yes, we’re seriously considering doing disposable dinnerware for our reception. We’re having it catered by a local BBQ place and it’s included, but also because our venue is not condusive to complicated clean-up (it’s a historic house/private estate and it doesn’t have a commercial kitchen).  And I don’t want our guests to have to wash dishes on their way out. Logistically, it make more sense for us to go with disposable dinnerware. Plus, our wedding is small and very relaxed.

I used disposable napkins and flatware.  Our plates were the heavy duty plastic white ones- they didn’t look like the cheap plastic plates.  We also used the plastic flatware that was silver so it didn’t look super cheap.   Clean up was simple since everything could go in the trash!

We’re going to go with disposable plates, cups (unless the traveling bartender supplies them), napkins, and silverware. It’s so much cheaper and we don’t have to worry about picking it up, washing them, and then dropping them back to the supplier. And we don’t have to worry about penalty fees if anything breaks/is damaged!

We’re really liking the plasticware from http://www.webstaurantstore.com/. Also search amazon! They have awesome deals, and when I had an issue with one of my orders (only 3 sets came in instead of 4), amazon refunded us our money, and sent us new ones at rush order shipping for free! Even though we totally didnt need rush order shipping, we have a whole nother year! haha
