I gotta be honest, I’m a little confused. You want a cocktail-free cocktail hour?

My favorite part of the cocktail hour (pre-reception) is always the food. I think what you said you are doing is pretty standard for cocktail hours. Once I went to one where they had someone doing silhouettes for everyone, that was really fun, and helped pass the time quickly.

We are having ours in a seperate spot in our venue. It’s a lounge. We are also having our photographer set up our photobooth during the cocktail hour in the lounge so that our guests can entertain themselves with that.

We’re not having anything “special” , just drinks and food and soft music!
