(Closed) Are you using tissue paper in your invitation envelopes?

@jessyrez:  I would say no. If you have an envelope for them there is no need. I, personally, wouldn’t want to spend the extra time shoving tissue paper in the envelope. Most people will pull it out and throw it anyway.

we are using pocketfolds, and aren’t using tissue paper. i think tissue is normally used for super formal invitations (i consider ours formal, but I mean super formal)

It’s not necessary.  The tissue paper was originally used for engraved invtations.  It’s to keep them from smudging.  Because of the cost, engraved invitations are typically only used for very formal weddings.
