I’m wearing Davids Bridal V9665 and I can’t decide if I want to wear a crinoline. I didn’t want to at first because I didn’t want to look poufy. I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and the bride had on a simliar dress and obviously a crinoline; i loved how it looks like she was floating..
are you wearing one?

I’m not wearing one because my dress is already quite poofy :). But, I love that look, so I would go for it if I were you!

I’m not just because I found them very very hot when I was trying on gowns. Have you gone for alterations yet? I’d try it on with a variety of different ones, and if you love the look you should wear it. You can always take it off for the reception if you don’t want to be too poofy on the dance floor.

I’m wearing on as recommended by several people because even though my dress is “poufy” it will tend to want to go between your knees when you walk and I don’t want to deal with that all night. A way to prevent being as hot and itchy from the crinoline is get a slip that goes to the knee and wear it underneath everything.

I wore a crinoline in July. I was never too hot, and it was actually quite comfortable. I loved how it just kind of “aired up” my dress to make it look full like the model photos. My crinoline had a cotton layer between me and the chiffon or tulle or whatever it was, so it wasn’t itchy or bunched up. I wore my dress for 14 hours, so I can say it definitely withstood time, temperature, humidity, dancing, walking, standing, sitting, EVERYTHING. That’s one purchase I would happily make again!
