futuremrsmcl :  CDC and federal government says it can be any cloth, it doesn’t have to be a mask. I wouldn’t be surprised of it becomes a requirement in the coming weeks. My parents plan to use scarves.

My daughter bought me a cloth mask. It is washable. I do wear it if I have to go out in public

We got two of the cloth basic ones off Etsy. They’re recommended in our area but not required. We figure might as well get them while we still can.

socalgirl1689 :  my mom decided to start wearing a mask about a week or so ago, and told me she received a lot of ugly stares. She was feeling guilty thinking that they were thinking she had the virus and therefore wearing the mask.

i told her, don’t worry about everyone else, they’ll understand in a week or so, and here we are! So yeah, I don’t go out to even grocery shop but I definitely appreciate people that are wearing masks outside their homes and doing their part to take care of themselves and take preventative measures for others as well 😉

I haven’t yet but I’ve also barely left our home. I try to follow any guidelines the CDC provides so if they think a cloth mask could help, then I will wear one when I need to go out. Just ordered some on Etsy, thanks for that idea bees. I’m happy crafters can help and spread a little joy in the process with all the colorful patterns. Keep well everyone.
