I did. My dress was short and kind of casual, so I felt like I needed one to feel like an actual bride. I think I would have wanted one anyway, I’m old fashioned that way I guess. I did change into a hair flower for the reception though.

I am. I originally planned on just wearing a hair flower but when I chose a vintage-y looking tiered dress, I decided to wear a birdcage with my flower.

Yes, I am!! I love the romantic look of the veils. And by veil I mean blusher.

I am for the ceremony but switching to my hair flower for the reception as my compromise

I am!  I love the look of veils.  I’m wearing a cathedral length veil that has embellishments to match my dress. and I’m also going to have a blusher added 🙂

    I didn’t.

Also, I’m looking at the poll right now and it’s 63% yes and 38% no. That equals 101%. WTF? Surprised

Like MsHedgehog, I am planning on wearing the veil for the ceremony and a flower for the reception. I wore a veil for my bachelorette party and that was probably my favorite part of it. Although that veil had shot glasses attached to the sides…

No, I won’t be wearing one. I tried one on, and I felt trapped. Plus, I can’t justify spending $100+ on something I don’t even like. I’m mostly like going to wear a flower thing though.

Yessss! I love the look of a simple veil, it’s so “bridal”. Plus we’re getting married in an awesomely stunning cathedral, I want the drama of a veil.

I am wearing a flower and a veil. My cathedral length veil will be attached under my updo and my flower will be attached to either the left or right side of my updo. I have yet to do my hair trial so I hope that it looks good together!

I bought one when I ordered my dress but I am not too fond of it. I’m only going to wear it for the ceremony and some pictures and then switch to a flower fascinator afterwards.

I looooove veils and I think I will wear mine secretly in the house every day when no one is looking. 🙂
