LadyH:  i think your thinking of Chantilly lace! I tried on a gown that was Chantilly lace from top to bottom and I looked like “grandma’s tablecloth” lol

My wedding dress had the illusion of lace. it was beading from top to bottom. It looked like lace

but was beading instead. It was Ilysa 964 by Demetrios

This is a picture of my bouquet but you can see the detail in my dress

Yes, I am wearing lace! I only tried on a few dresses that were not, as I felt he lace added to the dress that some other materials did not. The only thing I wish it had was the lace at the bottom, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Here is the stock photo of it:

No long drapings though.

This is my dress. I’m having it made slightly more fitted so it’s more of a mermaid style. I personally love lace, and have seen it look stunning on dark skin. I think the most important thing is finding the right shape for yourself.
