No for me because I’m getting married in the summer.  Too hot for gloves.

I think they would be fine for a winter or fall wedding though.

im really set on wearing gloves. I really want vintage ivory gloves with a wrist length. i just think they add extra class as sophistication. I only like the gloves that have fine threading so its a very dainty feeling. whats your dress? I could help you!

i’m not a gloves gal, but i think you may have answered your own question. If its not your style then just skip em πŸ™‚

My sis wore long white gloves and during the ring exchange she took off her gloves right before and i held them for her (MOH).

i’d say go with your gut on this one, whatever that may be πŸ™‚

I thought really long and hard about gloves, but I think I’ll settle with doing gloves at the rehearsal dinner (like vintage wrist length!) but not at my ceremony. It just doesn’t go with the feel of my dress!

I think gloves work for a vintage feel as both Miss Burgendy and Osakagrl said they might do.  I think the wrist length can be very appropriate and will add to the vintage feel.  But other than that, I don’t think that they’re really in style at the moment.  I wore elbow length gloves for dances in high school (in the mid 90s) but I’m not going to wear gloves for my wedding.

are you wearing a jacketof any sort. because if not, i think short gloves would look a little….off.

do you like the long gloves? I personally think the long gloves would ruin the beauty of your dress.

if you need help feel free to message me πŸ™‚

I’m not wearing them…1. because I’m getting married in july 2. I honestly think they’re too “princess” for me.  I wouldn’t even wear anything like them unless it was part of a costume…BUT I don’t like the idea of tiaras or any of that kind of stuff. πŸ™‚  It’s just personal prefernce!

probably not even though I love them (but for my boudouir (sp) oh yeah lol)… and i am not sure if i can gracefully take them off for the ring exchange and they are a bit too casual for me.

I’m not normally a “glove” girl, but I always imagined wearing them for my day, so I probably will as long as it looks good with the dress.
