Veil-less.  I’ve never seen a bride wear a veil at the reception.

Can’t say I’ve seen anyone wear their veil at the reception. Always seemed to be one of those ceremony-only things. I can’t imagin dancing in a veil, and cathedral length no way. I guess I think the ceremony is the time to feel “very bridal” and then reception is party time. Although you can take this with a grain of salt since I wasn’t sure I wanted to wear a veil at all.

Nope.  When my mom made my veil, she made it detachable from the headpiece (which is the one that she made and wore for her wedding).

Im wearing a catherdral length veil for the ceremony along with a lace covered headband. Then for the reception, I’m removing the veil but keeping the headband and adding a big lace flower. I love my veil to death but I just couldn’t figure out how I would lug it around all night!

I have a cathedral length veil too… I’ll be wearing it for my first dance and then taking it off.

I plan on it until the party begins. I’ll wear it for the first dance, toasts, cake cutting etc. And will take it off before the real dancing and party begins. Mine is also cathedral and I will be bustling it (ask your alterations lady).

I’ve never seen anyone wearing their veil at a reception, either.  Seems like it would trip you up or at the very least, get in the way quite a bit.

I’m planning on wearing a long cathedral length veil. I haven’t decided if I’ll take off the veil after photos or after intros/first dance. After I take it off, I’ll add a fluffy organza flower pin to my updo 🙂

No veil 🙂 I am taking it off and adding a silk ribbon headband, the one below, to my hairdo!

I plan to wear an elbow lenght or fingertip veil and I really really want to keep it all night. When else am I going to have a chance to wear a veil?
