I agree with Coffee_Cup I’m going to wear mine all night. the thing to decide is do I wear it over my face down the aisle? I have 100’s of stairs to walk down.

I have a chapel length veil for the ceremony (Mom’s request) and then I have a waist lengh one for the reception.  I feel so much more bridal when I’m wearing a veil so I wanted to wear one for at least part of the reception, plus this way my Mom and I both got what we wanted.  I got both at http://www.wedding-veil.com/ for a pretty reasonable price compared to bridal salons.  The come with metal combs that are supposedly easier to remove from your hair with out messing it up.

I had a elbow length veil. Wore it my whole wedding day/night and my whole at home reception as well. It’s funny because I never wanted a veil but once I fell in love with one there was no way I was taking it off. I felt way more bridal with it on.

And I always see brides wear their veil their whole night. I find it strange when they take it off. Excluding cathedral length because that would really get in the way.

I did not wear my veil for the reception but I did still feel bridal, if that helps.

I had a fingertip veil, and I left it on for the whole reception. I think you should get a shorter one and wear it. Maybe a little shorter than elbow-length.

@Adalita:  Not to threadjack, but wear it over your face if you want! I love the effect, and tulle is so sheer. In a lot of my pictures going down the aisle, you can barely see that it’s over my face, and I didn’t have a problem at all seeing through it.

I still wnt to have something in my hair that is white so i dont look like some girl in a white dress so i am incorporating a flower in my hair.  I will have the flower in my hair and the veil at the ceremony and then just take off the veil at the reception and still have something in my hair that wont get in the way
