Nope. No one cried… I was so glad. I thought I might cry because I always cry lol but I didn’t have a single moment where I felt like crying at all. Theres was just a lot of love and happiness- FILLED with emotion but no tears. A few people said afterwards they were surprised no one cried. lol

I was sure I would cry and even warned him.  I didn’t though.  I was on the verge, and he looked like he was liable to also. We actually talked (mouthed/whispered) back and forth through our ceremony.  Which kept the edge off, plus made it more special!  And no one was suprised, we’re pretty goofy and connected so it didn’t phase anyone.

For instance the officiant said (we did custom vows mostly picking parts she sent us as options… like 25 pages of options!) “In the years they have been together, their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife.” in the beginning and he mouthed “forever!” and I mouthed it back.  Which has been a running joke since we’ve been engaged: that we’d be stuck with each other forever. 🙂  But it just went on like that.

@meetmethere2013:  I think I was just ready! We were engaged for a year and a half, talking about and planning for the wedding almost everyday. When the time came I was just so relieved it was finally here and I was far too giddy happy to be crying lol.

On the other hand I thought I could keep it together when my little sisters baby was born… I was in the room to photograph so I was right next to my sister when I heard Delilah cry for the first time and they handed her daughter to her. I BAWLED! I thought I was going to get in there, work, say congrats and go…. Nope. I guess it just depends on the moment I don’t think you can predict it. lol Nothing wrong with crying or laughing or just smiling as long as it’s all in happiness.

OMG…I feel the same EXACT way about mine!! I have a feeling I will need a Valium to calm me down before I walk down the aisle! I am such an emotional person as it is that I am almost CERTAIN I will need a few re-applications of my makeup…haha!

I had an all-out ugly cry two nights before the wedding out of anxiety/stress/excitement/being at the end of my wedding planning rope and having to drive three hours with all our wedding and honeymoon stuff after a long day of work. On the day of, I was just too happy to cry about anything! My mom and his mom burst into tears when they saw me in my gown for the first time, and bawled during the ceremony, but I just kept on smiling (and occasionally asking, “Why is everyone crying? Am I doing something wrong?)
