(Closed) Are your flowers supposed to match the theme colors?

I don’t think it really matters. I don’t really have a “color theme”—I just have a bunch of colors that compliment each other nicely 🙂

Yes and no. No your flowers don’t have to match your theme colors. You don’t even have to have theme colors for that matter. But if you are having pink and green in the rest of the wedding, it would look a little out of place to have red and yellow flowers. So just stay in the same “family” of colors so everything looks cohesive. Do they have to match exactly? Not at all.

Say one of your theme colors is blue. It’s very hard to find blue flowers, so pulling in another color from your wedding palette for the flowers would look different, but good

My flowers aren’t matching the colour theme.  I will have them handtied with a ribbon that will bring in my colours.  My bridesmaids flowers are going to be the “pop”, they will carry sunflowers and will be wearing pewter dresses.  But they will be handtied with a sapphire blue ribbon since my colours are sapphire blue, petwer and black.
