In my circle of friends and family, the tradition has always been that the girls do the mani-pedi thing they day before the wedding and the men folk go play golf. This has alwyas included the SOs of the bridesmaids. My Fiance was on these golf outings for my BMs weddings so of course he told their husbands there would be golf the day before. Then it dawned on him that neither of his groomsmen play so a golf outing would be a bad idea in this situation. So now he feels like he has to find something to do with the dudes since they are expecting some sort of activity and I will have their wives with me (all are from out of town). He looked into go-carts but it’s $20 a head for 8 minutes! I told him just to BBQ at the house and head over to the clubouse and play pool, but for some reason he doesn’t like that idea.
Are any of your guys planning an outing? What are they doing.

Where we are getting married at its a gated community on 3 lakes, luckily there is horse back riding, a marina, golf, a club house, and restaurants all on the property. My guy & his friends are all planning on spending Saturday on the golf course and maybe going fishing too.

We’ll be working on decor & set-up at both the church and reception venue. I think Fiance and his best man will set up the rehearsal dinner tables and stuff (at the best man’s house) that day while the BM’s and I focus on the reception decor. Not too fun… I think the day of the wedding Fiance and his groomsmen will do some fishing out on his dad’s pond while us girls get our hair and makeup done. 🙂

Fi and his groomsmen always go play golf too! They spend all day out there and then come back, nap and head to the rehearsal. (He’s the 2nd to last of the guys to get married, so we’ve done this a few times!!)
I’m worried, bc we’re having a destination wedding in Tahoe.. where the air is much thinner and I swear if they come back all sunburned I’m going to kill them all. 🙂
Are there any lakes in the area? Maybe they could rent a boat for the day?
