The groom & groomsmen (there will be 3) will be wearing a tux in black, albeit more of a suit-style tux. Their vests will likely be black (the BM’s dresses are black, so it would probably match the best).
Should the two ushers also wear a tux? Or would a black suit with a nice tie & boutineer be just as nice & formal enough? In suits, I don’t know if they would look out of place in the pictures or not fit in with the bridal party look when they escort the moms in the ceremony. On the other hand, I hate asking people to waste their money if it’s not necesary.

We have one usher, FI’s 14 year old cousin. He is wearing a tux to match the groomsmen. We want him to feel included, and like he’s part of the group. We might have him wear a different color vest though.

We have 2 ushers and 1 usherette.. They all have great style and wanted them to be able to show that at the same time of being part of everything so I’m giving them the colors and letting them go at it! =)

We’re having two ushers- my younger brother and my “second brother” (very close friend from my hometown). While the groom will be in tails (his choice) and the groomsmen will be in tuxs, we are leaving it up to the fathers/grandfathers/ushers what they want to wear in the tux v. suit debate.
When I told my brother this and the colors for the wedding he said they would wear purple tuxes this is after I told him he was not allowed to wear his brown “Borat” suit.

I decided to have ushers at the last minute, so they did not wear tuxes. They both wore their own nice suits and it was perfectly fine.

Ours are wearing tuxes but our groomsmen are doubling as our ushers! If we had seperate people who were just ushers, a nice balck suit and tie would be fine!
