@ifheaven:  I don’t think you’ll notice a difference… You can’t really see the inclusions in small stones (smaller than .25 carats) anyway from the way they’re cut. (I’m assuming your wedding band has a bunch of stones in them.) I would think that difference in color would be more noticeable than inclusions but totally negligable in smaller stones.

If you’re referring to the small diamonds on my ering vs. wedding band, then they’re the same color and clarity. If you’re referring to the center stone of my ering vs the wedding band diamonds, then no they’re not, but they are close. Like PP said, you will notice a difference in color first before clarity in small diamonds.

Like yellowshoe, all of the micropave diamonds in my band and my ering are about the same specs. They’re also comparable to my main stone, although the stone has a better cut since it is a hearts & arrows cushion and my micropave rounds are not h&a rounds.

I have no idea what the clarity of the diamonds in my band are…but it was only $1k so I’m willing to bet they aren’t the same as my ring. The band has ten channel set princess cut, and they’re so tiny I don’t even care about the clarity.

the diamonds on my band are a different clarity/color then my main stone and I have never been able to tell any difference.

@ifheaven:  My ering is H (w/blue fluor) and I don’t know what my band is 🙂

Small stones tend to look whiter, imo.  But the clarity I would be leary of.  Even if it is not black carbon spots, an I2 clarity will be pretty hazy imo.

my center stone is F and melee are G, they match well because the melee are very clear and well-cut, so they don’t have that opaque white look some melee have. Melee are still cut slightly diff than larger stones though.

Literally the metal of my bands looks different , but they are both 14k white gold. I think my wedding band looks brighter, and the Ering duller.  My FI says its beaCaUse the diamonds in my

Wedding band are bigger (reflecting more

Light) than the pave diamonds in my Ering. I’ll just have to learn to love it. These pictures

Dont show it too well… But I swear. I see it.
