I really am. I hear and read many stories about unhappiness, unfairness, disrespect, mistreatment, shocking arguments, etc… and I am so thankful I have found my best friend and companion. He is amazing and I can’t imagine not spending my life with him.

I am too, actually! I told him that in my vows, and vowed to be thankful for having him by my side everyday.
Right before I met Fiance, I was in a relationship that was wrong for me, and prayed that the next one would be the right one.
I am truly blessed that God answered my prayer so quickly (met DH like, a month or two later!)

But I also think that if I hadn’t met “him”, I’d have met someone else in due time.
MemberI don’t think I’d ever meet someone better than my DH. Seriously. I dated. A LOT. And I realize every day how lucky I am!! Great post!
MemberI am absofreakinlutely glad I met my soul mate. Like EGB I prayed that the next guy that I dated would be much healthier than my previous relationship. A year later FH was pushing his friend out of his way to shake my hand and introduce himself. I couldn’t ask for a better friend, lover, companion, or stepdad for kiddo. He is a truly amazing man and I know he feels the same about me.
MemberYes. I don’t think there’s anyone else who could understand and love me so well, and I him. I’m so glad that things worked out despite the cards being stacked up against us.

This weekend one of my friends had a major meltdown and broke it off with her bf….made me so grateful I can put those kind of things out of my mind forever…. I do have to deal with living with my man forever though, this morning I was angered by the 10th snooze alarm, haha gotta love em!

MemberYes, absolutely. I never knew I could love anyone so much, and I’m still always surprised how much he loves me and how well he treats me.
