My girls are wearing long Jim Hjelm dresses. Their dresses were around $250 each. The short ones are probably cheaper since they are less fabric, but I doubt they are below $200. Is there a store in your area that sells Jim Hjelm that you can call and ask about the price?

I also do not understand why stores are so reluctant to share their prices! I looked at some Jim Hjelm (long) dresses and they are definitely over $200. I doubt the short ones would be less than that.

my girls are wearing short Jim Hjelm bridesmaid dresses in chiffon that cost $230 each if that helps you determine a price range.

@Mrs.Oat:  I know.  When you walk in the door, they refuse to show you anything out of your price range, but they won’t let you know what there’s is before you come unless it’s so high end that they don’t want you wasting their time.

You can try a place like Netbride.com for a cheaper price for that dress. IF your comfortable with online ordering that is 🙂

@pinkbride2012:

Jim Hjelm style 5907 in blush pink.

I have 3 bridesmaids and they were all fine with the price and paid for their dress themselves. I am letting them choose their own shoes and jewelry though, which helps keep the total cost down.

Personally, I found the quality to be much higher than the dresses I looked at DB, but it’s all about what you and your bridesmaids are comfortable with.

look into the no frills program at RK Bridal – they quoted me the best price for JH bridesmaid dresses. We went to a few stores that carry the whole collection to physically try on the dresses and pick the ones we liked -and then we ordered thru the No Frills. Have not gotten the dresses yet but I know a few people have been happy with it.

 This is the Jim Hjelm I am wearing and its $230 (i know, crazy isn’t it?) So yours is probably near the same?? Although I checked netbride.com and they gave me a quote of $187. Unfortunately I ended up going to the bridal shop and getting it. boo.

My girls are wearing Jim Hjelm.  The dresses are long and they were $270.  They are definitely pricey, but oh so gorgeous. The quality is amaizng from the material, color, make and style!  Their dresses range from about $240 all the way up to $350.
