I’ve posted on here before, i’ve had dress wobbles for a while now….
And working in a wedding dress shop is TOURTURE when you’re a bride to be, who already bought her dress. I get so many beautiful dresses coming into the shop, it’s hard not to love them all.
But, today…I tried on a dress, that literally had me in tears (in a good way). Everyone gasped when I came out of the changing room….Which made me feel so special. It was a size too big so the corset didn’t do up near the bottom, but I felt so thin in it.
It’s a dress that, I didn’t expect to like, and that NO ONE will expect me to wear….Which almost makes me want it more…
Anyway, I’ve already bought a dress, that I’m having 2nd thoughts about….but how does the dress i tried on today, compare to the one I’ve already bought?
I’d really appreciate your honest opinion,
Does it flatter my figure better? And even though the pictures are rubbish, and you can’t see the detail, do you prefer it?
I shall get better pictures soon.
I’d really appreciate your help, as I can’t ask my best friend, I’m marrying him haha.

nearly_mrs_griffiths: Hand down, I prefer the new dress. The old one doesn’t accentuate any of your features, just seems to drape overtop of your body.

Thank you so much!!!
It’s so helpful to hear people’s opinions!

I hate to vote for the new dress (and I almost always can’t even see a significant difference between the dress-regret-dress and the potential-replacement-dress) but in this case I do feel that the new dress is spectacular on you. It looks much better on you than it does on the display form, even. AMAZING. That said, in general, I do believe it’s just one day and a few hours and you would look lovely in the old dress as well.

The new dress is more flattering but is that because of the corset so it’s fitted more to your body? I dont care for the style of the new dress. The old dress has a style that flows better but it does look it doesnt fit you as well. Maybe alterations would fix that though so I’m not sure. I voted for neither just because I dont really love either dress.

Tough one. I think the top of the new one is much more flattering but I’m not a huge fan of the skirt.

The old one gives you a nice waistline but the new one looks incredible.

thanks everyone!! this is really helping.

I think the old one looks more natural on you. The new one looks kinda like you’re playing dress up.

Definitely the new one. Sorry, but the old one looks kinda cheap.

I can assure you, neither dresses are cheap hahaha wallet rape! However, I do really value your opinion, and thank you for being honest! It really is a huge help!

I vote new dress the old dress is pretty but the new dress looks amazing on you.

New one. Old one looks unoriginal and a bit matronly.

The new one!! The old one looks too big in the waist. The new one gives you an hour glass shape and fits better.
