Today I decided I really liked the arm bouquets for my Bridesmaid or Best Man. In highschool at my prom I had a gorgeous arm bouquet anf loved it then. Although all of this site and past experience Ive never seen a BRIDE carry one. Do you think its not a good idea or doesnt look right? Whats your opinion?
The feel of my wedding I want to be romantic. We are using DB Lapis/eggplant and the main flowers are calla lily, and purple lillies, greens. I am wearing a ball gown w/3 ft train, and chapel length veil.
On the left would be the size of the Bridesmaid or Best Man, on the right would be the size of mine.

Personally I am glad you said calla lilies was one of the main flowers as it is really the only flower I think looks good in an arm-bouquet. It’s still not my personal favorite bouquet but if you love it then that is all that matters. I think they are just not currently the most popular kind and that is why you haven’t seen many pictures of them around here–bouquet styles seem to be trending right now towards modern and simple rounds with exposed stems (notice also there are very few cascading bouquets making the rounds.) The good thing about that though is your look will stand out and people will remember it.

It’s just not something I’ve ever heard of. I think it would look nice for bridesmaids, but maybe not for you. I’m not really sure though. That being said, forget what other people think. If you like it, do it!

I am gonna say if it feels good, then yes! just because it isn’t “common” doesn’t mean it isn’t “you”. In the pic you posted you look happy and confident. Seems to be a good fit!
