You can’t selectively get rid of fat in certain areas of your body. You have to lose overall weight. You can tone your arms with weights/yoga/pilates, but you can’t get rid of the fat selectively without lipo.

Lotta bicep curls and tricep dips. Losing weight will help but you have to do weight training to tone your arms.

omg I know what you mean, wedding dresses are so cruel to ladies with anything beside a bone in their arms!! crayfish is right, the best way to go about it is to lose weight overall and tone your arms through gradual exercise! If you plan on hitting a treadmill to lose that 15-20 lbs make sure you don’t hold on with your arms as you walk- the swinging motion actually does work to tone your arms and you burn more calories walking if you aren’t clutching something.

I think the pp are right you can tone your arms with weights etc but  you wont lose the weight there seletively without losing weight in other places too.

@chelles07:Work out your triceps–won’t make the area “smaller” but will tone it so it does’t wobble.

You can do tricep dips off a bench or chair or couch from the privacy of your home. And pushups with your elbows in (arms straight by your sides, not out by 90 degrees).

 

 

I have HUGE arms, even losing weight (I was a gymnast when I was younger). My arms will NEVER be small, but toning them means they don’t wave back when I wave. Always good. 🙂
