Bees, for those of you who have/will have an outdoor ceremony, how are oh you working the logistics of getting to the aisle without anyone seeing you? I will be getting married in a large park with no buildings nearby to “hide” in.
Ive thought about being driven up in a vintage car and the only thing I’m really ruling out is horse and carriage (just not my style). Thoughts?

@MoonlitMagnolia: Could you time it so you could arrive perhaps 15 minutes after the start time on the invite and then have you father/mother/ whoever is walking you down the aisle just meet you at the car and walk with you straight from the car to the altar? Or do you have room in your budget for a DOC to coordinate it?

We are getting married outside, but I’m hiding out inside the castle. My cousin got married in a park and his wife just hid out in a car she’d come in, until it was time for her to walk down the aisle.

Thanks! These are good suggestions. The park is very wide open and has no real buildings in it, and the buildings across the street are facing the wrong way… gah! I think I’m thinking too hard about this.

We are doing a strech hummer limo. We are going to do pictures at the park before the ceremony and once it gets close I will just hid out in the limo 🙂

@MoonlitMagnolia: Some couples erect a dooway so the bride has an “entrance” rather than have her guests see her clamboring out of a vehicle.

@MoonlitMagnolia: are there any trees you can climb and hang out in? Then you can jump down and scare everyone!
Not really. But is there a patch of woods or trees you could wait behind?
