Ohh, that’s a tough one! Such a unique ring, seems like it’d be hard to find something to complement it. Does it normally sit at an angle like that? If not, maybe a very contoured, very plain diamond ring?

Wow, that’s gorgeous! I would go with a plain band or nothing at all.

That is absolutely stunning!!! I would say plain band too something that will follow the lines of your ring

I’d third the suggestion of a plain band. Something very light-weight as you just want something to complement the e-ring rather than to fight it.

Normally I would advise against not having a wedding band at all but in your case I think this is what works best. It would be very difficult to find a band that follows the lines of your ring and a plain wedding ring would probably create a quite noticeable gap.Your ring is exquisite!

I also have an art deco ring and we’re having a wedding band made to match the contour of the ring.  If I had it to do over, I would either buy a band to wear separately on my other hand, or get a very plain flat band where the edge could slide under the contour of my e-ring.  The custom jewellry process has been laborious, at best.

I would not wear a wedding band at all with that ring.  I would wear a band separate on the other hand.  Your ring is beautiful and I think adding anything else will take away from it.

We are doing just one ring for me: it’s the engagement ring now and will become the wedding band once it’s blessed at the ceremony. Less is more.

My ER is a family diamond, which we reset in an estate setting. I wanted something new that was just mine for the band-bought this from Blue Nile. Sometimes I stack them, sometimes I wear the ER as a right hand ring, sometimes I just wear one or the other. I didn’t want a custom curved band, because I wanted to be able to wear the band solo.

It looks better in real life than the close up (shifted a little)- I like that there’s a LOT of bling going on!

@siouxnami:  beautiful ring.  would you consider having a band custom made to fit snuggly around your ering?  like this idea…

I would probably wear just a plain thin band next to it. Like 1-1.5 mm. Your ring is so gorgeous, and I think a blingy band next to it would take away from it. Also, I really don’t like contoured bands at all, and I think that one would be distracting from your e ring.
