Really sad (and scary). I used to read Matt Logelin’s blog shortly after his wife’s passing from childbirth, and I just can’t even imagine. You just don’t think about the fact that women still die from giving birth.

Tears and memories honor the dead; whether we knew them or not. bless her and her family!  And to all those soon-to-be-mommies, you have my prayers! the article said itself, it’s a rare disorder. but birthing a child is a risk, a blessing, and a miracle.

wow, this is amazingly sad. I thought when reading it, something happened to the baby, but as I went I kept saying no no no this can’t happen, it can’t be the mom!!!  poor baby will never know his momma, and I just can’t imagine the grief her husband feels, I imagine it would be what my hubs would feel losing me, or vice versa. And soul crushing to have to look into his face and see her every day, ugh makes me sick to think about it
