My husband and I are planning to do a newborn/family shoot this summer.  I like the pics, though, ejs!  You did a really good job!

@ejs: Those are really cute!  I don’t know that I’d show them to the world, but making a little album for hubby seems like a cute present for our 1 year anniversary!

I’m doing mine in a few weeks and SOOO excited. I’ll try to remember to come back here and share them when they are done.

im really not a fan of these so if i ever get pregnant i would be a hell no for these pics – im sure its very different when you are actually carrying your child but i have alot of problems with the thought of being big without having someone take pics of it.

although i really liked some of the couple pics that Lilyfaith linked for us earlier, some of them were outstanding for my body shy self

btw, from awkwardfamilyphotos.com, what not to do: http://awkwardfamilyphotos.com/page/6/

Doesn’t that look like the mom off of “Home Improvement”?  I know it’s not, but it kinda looks like her.  Creepy…

As a photographer and woman, I don’t like the “typical” maternity shoots. I understand a woman’s body is beautiful and what not, but really… who came up with wrapping a scarf around the lady bits and maybe boobs? I don’t think that’s “beautiful.” But, art is in the eye of the beholder 🙂 (and please don’t take offense if you have taken/done ones like that, I don’t mean that in a rude way, I just don’t get why THAT is the norm.)

I think doing things like this speaks much more
