We went there last year and loved it! Go to the flying fishbone for dinner! Make sure to tour an island with a jeep! We didnt do that and regretted it as we heard fabulous things! Enjoy the drinking water as it is amazing. We stayed at the rui palace and at night we enjoyed taking a 15 walk off the resort to an entertianment complex. Enjoy as Aruba has been one of our favourites!!

No i havent heard anything about the pirate ship but it sounds fantastic. Sorry for the late response we were away in st lucia last week. It was a wonderful vacation but Aruba was still our favourite and would go back in a heartbeat! ; ) btw – make reservations for the restaurant as it gets really busy!!

The pirate ship is fun- they are very generous with the rum punch! 😉

Madame Jeanette’s and Passions on the Beach are musts- make reservations (MJ can be esp. tough to get into)

My family and I went to Aruba back in 2004. My favorite part was scuba diving. None of us are licensed but we were able to take a 2-hour training course in a hotel pool (one of the hotels in Palm Beach – don’t remember which), then go into the ocean with an instructor. There are a few shipwrecks off the coast there so it was very cool!

We also went horseback riding, which was awesome.

There’s a Brazillian BBQ place called Amazonia that was absolutely delicious!

Have fun!!
