I know there are some aruba posts on here already, but I was trying to find anyone who’s gone, I am looking at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort Aruba vs. Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive they are both all inclusive, and have very comparable rates right now. I would like to know what beach is better, the Tam seems to be a little more islandy looking as compared to the holiday inn… I’m not sure which to pick, i’ve have never traveled to any islands, i’m sure both are awesome, but I wanted to see if anyone has had experience at either of these. Thanks!

Well we booked our honeymoon, so I guess the poll doesn’t matter anymore.

This is funny, my wedding is October 24th and we are deciding if we’re going to Aruba or not.
We might stay in the states.

What did you end up choosing?
I’ve been to a few islands before, but I think there’s something in Aruba that makes most people happy. No wonder the island motto is "One Happy Island!" A couple of bms including myself took our beloved bride there last year for her bachelorette and we had tons of fun (we still can’t stop talking about it and it’s a year later!) There’s not a lot of nightlife or large crowds so it is perfect for people who love serenity.
The island is small so you can really tour the whole island in 1 or 2 days. Everyone is rather friendly there, I’ve never felt threatened even when taking the bus to and from our hotel late at night. The bus is definitely more cheaper and budget friendly but taxi’s are found everywhere too.
The flying Fish Bone and The Passions restaurant at Amsterdam Manor is a must go! HAve a great time!

Thanks for the feedback pink, ya we picked the Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive.. we actually wound up spending a little more than we wanted to, but we are staying 8 days and 7 nights, we also have access to their sister resort, the Divi Aruba, so we will get to have more choices of where to eat, and more pools to swim in! We are so excited, i’ve never been to an island before so I can hardly wait to lay out in the sun!

We are staying at the Hotel RIU Palace in Aruba All-Inclusivefor 9 days. I’ve heard great things about the Tamarijn so I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time. In the end it’s really not where you are staying… its what the island offers.
