Chocolate, something sparkly (bracelet/necklace would be amazing but I know that many brides have a lot of BMs so might not be able to buy 5 necklaces) and a cute robe/top/tank top that I could wear to get ready. But I’m super easy on quality – I wouldn’t mind something that wasn’t hugely expensive, it’s the thought that counts after all! But something to eat, a water bottle and something for me to remember the day by would be awesome.

hmmm a mini bottle of courage? Just kidding, Barista! I would love something that was very “me”–think about it. Does one of your BMs use chapstick or something all the time? That’d probably be a thoughtful thing to tuck in there, along with like a Bridesmaid or Best Man emergency kit (Advil, tylenol, sewing kit, emery board, safety pins, shout wipes and extra bobby pins). Or maybe a gift certificate for mani/pedis with you? or a makeup touchup bag with makeup from eyeslipsface.com (really inexpensive but awesome)?

well, having been a bridesmaid before and now in the process of being one again I would have to say that items that would cut my cost for the day would be awesome! i.e. paying for their dresses is an awesome bridesmaid gift I’m sure many bridesmaids would be happy to take instead of meaningless “trinkets” that will prolly just get stashed in the closet with other things they never use.

Also, another idea is buying them their jewellery to match the dresses that way they all have the same jewellery on the day of the wedding and they can use this present again. I’m not saying you have to buy expensive jewellery, even fake stuff. Who can tell the difference really?!!

I’m putting lip gloss, flip flops, a pretty compact, hand sanitizer and bridesmaid shirts (that i’m making myself) in the totes for my girls. Practical things they can use the day of 🙂 and some of them they can keep for later!. I’m also writing a note to each girl thanking them for being in the wedding and telling them how much I care about them 🙂

flip flops, any kind of make up, any kind of bath product like a handmade soap or something like that, CHOCOLATE, and a simple jewelry item like a bracelet or a necklace… any of these things will make me happy

I’m putting in some jewlery (earrings of coin pearl that I’m having made) and using some hat boxes I’ve found at Michael’s to give them in rather than in a tote.

Inside it there will be also some hand santizer, a personal note, some tissues, and something else..not sure yet..but they’ll get it at the rehearsal dinner!

Some nice water (maybe a fun flavored kind?) and some snacks! You could do trail mix and gummi bears or whatever. Something to munch on day-of =-]

Hand sanitizer is always a goodie (and one everyone always forgets, too)

Oh and some breath mints. Everybody clamored for those at the last wedding i was in.

great post!! and great idea belle on the hatboxes!! I also like the idea of the bridesmaid’s shirts for them.  My baby sister is definitely loving her role lol (okay she’s not a baby at 24 but still)!!!

Definitely agree that the practical gifts (for me) are most appreciated.  If I end up doing BMs I will probably give them all gift certs to get their nails done before the wedding & probably a brooch or something for them all to wear to coordinate (since I will just have them wear black cocktail dresses that they choose themselves).
