I’m trying to decide whether to organise a high tea or a group manicure session for my girls as a thank you.
The cost of both is very similar, and both would be luxury/ pampering/ bonding type experiences.
Please note that there’s no sort of manicure “requirement” for the girls. If I didn’t organise it as a present, they probably won’t get it. They all generally do their own nails themselves at home.

Tea, I can do my own nails but high tea is something special

I would go with the tea, because then you won’t have strangers listening in on the bonding with the manicurists working on your nails.. lol. High tea is also something special and out of the ordinary that your bridesmaids might not otherwise experience.

I say manicure. But I don’t like tea, so I’m biased.

Thanks bees! I’ve also added a poll to make it easier.
@kelmac: High tea generally involves little pastries, scones with cream, and crustless sandwiches. I think the traditional way is to have a pot of tea with it, but I have seen some places advertising coffee too. It’s a very ladylike, “proper” sort of affair, pretty sure it is an English tradition. To me it’s a great chance to wear pretty dresses and heels and act sophisticated and eat nice food, lol. And my girls would love it!

HIGH TEA!!!!! It’s my favorite pastime! It’s also were my Fiance and I had our engagement pic taken! You can get a manicure anytime but High Tea is a special occasion that’s luxurious and delicious!

They both sound like great ideas! I think a manicures are easier do to on one’s own time, where as the tea time is really made for groups and not something you can do every day. My freind set up a high tea for us when we visited London, and it was a lot of fun 🙂 I’m voting for tea!
