@JenGirl: Cincinatti?I know that Cinci is the hub for research :). My daughter has been part of the clinical group here in dc metro and they’re putting her back in.Her doctors are really good. Its just rough hearing, depending on what we see I’m ready to implement 6 food elimination diet because the kids do really well on it. She was part of the big flovent trial a few years back. She did pretty good on it but she hated it and it made her cranky :/. It did solve the croupy EoE cough she had though for months and allowed the second PPI to take hold with antihistamines. She was doing great but she’s dropped 27% in growth in the last 18 months with 17% of that being in the last 8 she essentially just stopped growing which isnt a great sign with the other things we’ve got going right now. She’s my peanut, right now we’re kinda just letting her eat whatever until these tests are done (within the sugar restrictions they implemented 7+ years ago). I’ve been pretty honest with her what 6 food elimination means and she’s not happy about it but understands it may mean no more tummy aches, head aches, crankyness, mouth sores, etc. Its good to hear there are kids doing great though. I always worry will my kid be one of the ones on formula too. You cant help but worry about things like that as a parent staring in the face of other kids in that position. I just want to protect her and I feel like Im failing so miserably when they start talking elination diets etc.
