So I started operation ‘gotta look hot in my dress’ back in the begginning of feb. It is also to finally get out of my maternity clothes and back into my old jeans. Im sick of being fat. I had my daughter may last year. so really no excuses… mind you maternity clothes are sooooooo comfy!
I initially started with a 5 week boot camp sesion which had three morning classes/week. But with uni starting, getting ready for school, domestic goddess stuff, bla bla, I found it wasnt fitting into what else i needed to do. In that five weeks I lost about 4.5kg (9.92 pounds) but i didnt know how many cm’s I lost.
So.. I joined a gym 6 weeks ago and since joining ive averaged going 3 times a week with taking a whole week off in there. Im still trying to eat right such as cutting down on sugar, processed foods, white carbs etc but the call of chocolate and yummy stuff does make me fall off the eating wagon more than I would like.
I was starting to get a bit disheartened because the scales wernt really moving as much as I wanted them to. You know what its like.. you have a good week lose 2, bad, put on 3, lose another 2.5, then 1, then put on another .8kg ugh.. I was getting quite disheartened that it wasnt a continual decline.
That is until this morning when I had my first evaluation since ive joined the gym. In that 6 weeks I have only lost about 3.5kg (7.7 pounds)… but I have lost an over all 20cm (7.87 inches) from my body measurements!!! STOKED!! I know its not a huge amount but the fact that it is going down is awesome!! So that must mean the weight I am putting on is in fact muscle and not fat! WINNING!!!
This wonderful news then inspired me to go all hard core on my cardio today and go that bit harder for an extra 20mins lol!!!!
