Nice score with that bag!! I still think you can score at least a shoulder massage. 🙂

Still, it is really a load of crap that someone thinks they can just butt in and completely make a mockery of your wedding. Do they take their traveling clown shows to funerals too? You’re good to try and shake it off.. but even if you do forgive, you won’t forget it! :-X

That is unreal. It’s like a wedding nightmare that you can’t wake up from! Can these people even be sane?

You deserve Bride of the Year (if not decade) for not killing someone.

Yikes. I guess it would’ve been different if you’d known UP FRONT they had such tacky traditions! YES, TACKY! I said it. Totally tasteless. Good for your mom for saying it though. Yuck. Yuck yuck yuck.

I applaud you for not doing what I would’ve done. Cry and scream obsenities at the top of my lungs.

Oh man, not gonna lie, that’s pretty bad! Thank goodness you were able to get past it and not let it ruin your wedding!

That is terrible. I can’t even believe what I read and saw.  No bride should go through that on their wedding day.  It’s a shame those adults cannot respect you on your special day.  I would have handled it much much worse.  Sorry.

I totally commiserate.  My husband’s brother-in-law told my mom that it was “family tradition” to kidnap the bride and groom from the reception.  My mom allowed my groom to be kidnapped from the reception, and then they brought him back so drunk he could barely stand up.  We only got a couple of dances in, before my husband’s sister distracted me, while a bunch of guys carried my new husband out.  I had to go around my reception saying hello to everyone by myself.  And then to make it worse, that they would only return my groom when he was totally drunk!  UGH.
