I thought that since there was a Moissanite one, Asha’s should get one too!! I am patiently waiting for my Asha, but let’s see yours in the meantime!! Don’t forget to include specs ladies!!
I will leave you with the image of the ring we ordered though 🙂 Something to get us started.

Unfortunately I have no excellent pictures of my Asha 🙁 Here are the best ones I could find:
Professional photos from AshaDiamonds before they sent it out:
And my personal photos:
(I’m not sure why one of my side stones went dark on a couple facets, but trust me it is so bright and sparkily)

@GoldfishPie: stunning!! do you mind me asking what cut that is & what the specs are? also…what color did you end up ordering?

Asha ladies, what differences do you see between Asha and regular CZ? If you held a CZ beside an Asha could you tell the difference?
@karenlinebarger: Of course not! 🙂 It’s a 3 stone ring with a 1.5 ct (7.5mm), H color, H&A cut center, and F colored .33 ct (4.5 mm) H&A side stones. It’s set in rose gold with white gold prongs. I had to get the ratio (1.5 ct center and 4.5 mm sides) custom designed. I spent months literally cutting out different sized circles and deciding which ratio I liked the best. I moved up to buying cheapo ebay CZs and comparing. I wouldn’t change a single thing, and I still adore this ring every day. It is truly my dream ring, CZs and all, because it meant I could have the design of my dreams and it cost less than $1k!
@lilsweetie: I think the biggest difference is the brilliance of the cut, and the coating they put on it. Most CZs, like if you went on ebay or to JC Penney’s and bought a CZ, are machine cut and uncoated. This makes them not as brilliant (sparkily and “deep” looking), and doesn’t account for the blueish cast that most low end CZs have. I bought my center stone in an H color to account for the fakey whiteness that is usually present in CZs. The coating also helps to protect the stone, as a CZ is only about a 8-8.5 on the Mohs scale. I have super cheap CZ earrings that I bought for $15 at a mall stand, they look slightly milky bueish-white with a flatness to them. They still sparkle, but it is nowhere near as flashy and clean looking as my ashas. I could definitely tell the difference.

@LadyPeace: where did you get the OMC asha?
@GoldfishPie: thanks for the explanation. i wish there were ashas i could see in person. it seems to be easier to find moissanite in stores than asha.

@novarising and @karenlinebarger where did you order your rings from? Also did you look at moissanite as well and if so what made you decide on an Asha? Thank you! Your rings are beautiful!
