FWIW, I have a princess cut and I have never thought it has look fake, nor has anyone else, for that matter.  I adore it!!!!!

I have one but I don’t wear it every day as my e-ring.  I think it is very realistic looking comparing it to my friends that have real princess cut diamonds.  I wear it occasionally and no one has ever questioned whether or not it’s real.  In fact, I get more compliments on it than my real diamond ring.

In saying that however, size in my opinion will be the biggest giveaway.  For example, if you and your boyfriend are college students or recent grads, and you show everyone a 3 carat rock, people will wonder whether it’s real.  If you buy a size that is more in line with what other people your age or area has, you won’t get questioned.

i HAD  princess cut asha in a solitaire setting, its very very pretty. it just depends on if YOU like the princess cut, alot of girls dont like it. You should check betterthandiamond.com/discussion and theres alot of pictures and reviews regarding the asha and the specific cuts.

I love my Asha princess.  It’s a 1.5ct center setting and .66ct channel band setting  I’ve had it for about little over a year now. (The picture doesn’t do the ring justice as it was taken with a cell phone.)  The betterthandiamond website was very helpful.

@plpinkinsa2001:  Thanks for the compliment!

@Nichol513:  Sometimes I’m not sure that it looks real.  However when I look at it next to other CZ rings, it looks NOTHING like a regular CZ!

When I look at it next to a real diamond the only difference that I can tell is that my ring doesn’t look at “grey” or steel color as a real diamond.  However my ring sparkles more thana diamond (in my opinion.)

When I first got my ring it caused a lot of “ring envy” amongst some folks that have nice diamonds.  My neighbor even went so far as to pull out her original wedding ring set to compare to mine and my ring put her $20K ring to shame.. lol.  My ring is “H” in color, so it near colorless.

In my opinion, I think if you go with an Asha that isn’t more extravagant than your lifestyle, no one will ever question it.

At the end of the day, I’m very happy with my choice.  My Fiance is planning on buying two Asha channel set wedding bands to go with my Engagement Ring.

I’m confused, I have an Asha ring and the paper work that came with it shows nothing about the color of the stone. I’ve seen multiple blogs on this site about F and H color stones.  How do you know the color of your center stone?

Teeley:   Who did you purchase your Asha from?  I got mine from ashadiamonds.com.  I knew when I picked it that the color was F/G and the paperwork confirmed it.  The creator, better than diamonds requires you to select the color when selecting the size you want to purchase.
